My dog Beringer and I attended Colleen's Basic Skills class when Ber was 8 years old. In addition to the new and improved skills, the enjoyment of bonding with each other and our human and canine classmates was wonderful for us both. Last month Beringer and I attended a class to prepare for the AKC Good Citizen test, and I am happy to say that Beringer passed the test with flying colors two months shy of her 9th birthday! We’re looking forward to the next class we can take at Houston Dog Ranch.”

Lotus (King Charles Cavalier Spaniel) was eager to learn and I wanted to find the ‘right’ place that used gentle and loving training techniques. Colleen is a gracious and conscientious teacher and made each class important in our lives. Thank you everyone at the Ranch!”
Come join us for the exciting sport of Dock Diving! This sport involves dogs leaping as far as they can into a pool to catch and retrieve a toy thrown by their owner. As dogs progress, they can also participate in Extreme Vertical (measuring height) and Speed Retrieve (measuring speed). Whether you want to compete or just have fun and bond with your dog, this is the sport for all dogs and owners!
For you and your dog’s safety, HDR reserves the right to cancel pool usage due to inclement weather including heat, thunder, lightning and/or rain.
